Dear Colleagues
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am delighted to invite you to attend the The 7th Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons (ACNS) , which will be held on June 20-23, 2008 in Beijing International Hotel, Beijing, China. This biannual conference was founded by Professor Tetsuo Kanno in 1996 in Japan . The 7th Congress will be organized by Chinese Neurosurgical Society chaired by Professor Jizong Zhao of Beijing Tiantan Hospital . It will be the largest regional neurosurgical meeting in Asia in 2008.
With the rapid advancing in recent ten years, the ACNS has integrated and focused closely with many subjects and new technology, new appliances and imaging diagnosis, which extremely broadened the indications of surgical therapy in neurology. In the meanwhile, it is also bringing us many new problems and challenges. The main objective of the congress is to offer a high-level communication platform, providing the opportunity to extend and to enrich the field of development of Asian neurosurgery. the congress also invites the international professionals to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Attendance at this comprehensive congress is the most efficient way to keep current in our rapidly advancing field.
All the neurosurgeons not only in Asia area are most welcome to participate the meeting and visit Beijing just one month before the 29th Olympic Games, for academic communication and friendship, also enjoy the historic sightseeing and modern entertainment in the city of Beijing.
